Job Description
- Performing the microbiology tests for food& water samples as per the standard methods
- Preparing medium for microbiological tests on food& water samples.
- Preparing samples for testing.
- Conducting actual testing utilizing existing available lab equipment and official methods recommended.
- Reading and documenting the results of all tests in accordance with JAWS lab SOPs and official methods instructions.
- Assisting the Quality Manager in preparing, reviewing and writing ISO 17025 documents.
- Cross-training other laboratory technicians in microbiological testing.
- Other duties as assigned by the lab supervisor or General Manager.
- Optional, should have a technical understanding of ISO 17025 standards if available.
المهارات
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in autonomous work by maintaining high standards under pressure.
- Must have the ability to communicate in English (verbally and in writing) at an intermediate level.
- Must have a minimum of a four-year (bachelor) degree in food microbiology.
- Technical expert on microbiological testing for food and water minimum 2 year.
