Mechanical Technician (Expert Level)

• Check equipment and operating systems and correct wherever necessary.
• Resolve motor, pump, conveyor and hydraulic problems.
• Responsible for troubleshooting maintenance work activities for all production machines: WTU,
  Mixing, Processing, Filling, Labelling and Packing.
• Performs all mechanical activities and carries out all maintenance activities during
  unit shutdown assuring that are being completed at minimum time with minimum cost.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand
  tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Reporting to supervisor for any abnormality in the workflow.
• Optimizes maximum resources available to reduce maintenance cost.

Special Qualifications:
1. Able to perform periodic major services, 500, 1000, 2000, 3000 and 6000 hours interval of different machines
such as Blow Molder, Labeler, Filler, Packer and Palletizer specifically machines from the following OEM;
a. Krones
b. Sidel
c. Tetrapak
d. Siapi
e. Bardi
2. Good knowledge in operation and maintenance of air compressors both Low and High Pressure compressors
and able to perform overhauls with or without the assistance of OEM’s field service engineer.
3. Has the capability to detect if the above machines are operating within the setpoints , and able to perform the
required adjustments in any case of deviations in accordance to operating and maintenance manual standards
4. Can prepare list of spare parts required for preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance and for
replenishment of stocks as well.
5. Can lead his co‐technicians in times of major breakdowns and able to take outright decisions whenever necessary.

• Able to understand written and spoken English or Arabic
• Minimum 3‐5 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably within manufacturing / production
  background. Familiar with Sidel, Krones, Tetra Pak, KOSME, SIAPI and BARDI machines operation
  and maintenance
• College or Vocational Diploma with Mechanical Technology specialization. Bachelor’s degree
  holders preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends.
