- Able to develop and maintain effective food quality and HACCP food safety system.
- Supervise and control assigned personnel engaged in the Contract and investigate any incident, or incident occurred during the Contract Period.
- Conduct safety meeting with Supervisor and General Supervisor and suggest recommendation, where appropriate. Discusses recommendations with JO prior to implementation of action.
- Review JO’s EHS technical procedures for all incidents and accidents that may involve risk. Minimize accidental loss related to specific activities through the implementation.
- Develop internal rules to govern Contractor employee behavior on activates through the implementation.
- Attend to emergencies/accidents and provide technical consultation, conduct investigations, and follow up on corrective actions of potential safety problems.
- Remain on call after normal working hours.
- Carry out and develop safety training and promotional programs. Includes giving lectures with illustrations to Contractor’s employees.
- Coordinate with JO for any evacuation safety plan.
- Participate in safety meeting and maintain records of all safety/EHS minutes of meetings. Provide all reports to JO supervisor when required.
- Adhere to EHS policies, rules, regulations, and procedures and maintain always good housekeeping and report hazard immediately to JO supervisor.
- Operates PC for preparing accident reports and other documentation such as minutes of meeting safety implementation, and similar other records.
- Carryout other related duties as instructed by the Superintendent.
المهارات
- Have the qualifications as stated in EHS & security requirements, not less than Ten (10) years in food/hotel industry in Food Safety with NEBOSH (Level-3) or hygiene and safety studies.
- Certified OSHA trainer.
- Shall have valid Kuwait driving license.
- Shall be able to read and write English/Arabic fluently.
