Accuracy of Testing Results: Ensure that 100% of quality tests are performed accurately and reported promptly during the shift to avoid any process delays or product deviations.
Timeliness of Corrective Actions: Respond to any out-of-specification results within a set time frame (e.g., within 15 -20 minutes), communicating necessary adjustments to the production team
Shift Management Efficiency: Ensure smooth QC operations during shifts, with minimal downtime or delays, and a target of zero missed tests or incomplete documentation.
Compliance with Food Safety Standards: Maintain 100% compliance with FSSC 22000, HACCP standards by strictly adhering to SOPs
Issue Reporting and Resolution: Promptly report all quality and food safety issues, including pest sightings or deviations, to the Assistant Technical Manager within the agreed timeframe. Ensure proper escalation and resolution to avoid any disruption to production.
Documentation and Traceability: Ensure that the shift QC & Production monitoring records, test results, deviations, and corrective actions are documented in real time with zero backlogs, ensuring full traceability in the quality/food safety system.
Continuous Improvement Participation: Actively contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring process improvements based on recurring quality trends or test failures.
Safety & Hygiene Compliance: Ensure that all production activities strictly adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols, aiming of zero incidents of non-compliance during the shift.
Shift Reporting: Ensure all shift reports are accurately completed and submitted promptly to the Asst. Technical Manager at the end of each shift.

- QC Laboratory Testing skills,
- Knowledgeable in the operation and management of Laboratory equipment,
- Experience in Testing methods & procedures, Hygiene & Food safety inspection skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related field,
- Minimum HACCP Level-3 certification is a must and other food safety related trainings are desirable
- Minimum Two years Manufacturing industry experience outside UAE or minimum 1 year experience in UAE
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
