Job Description
- Handle day to day procurement transactions for assigned PRs/material group.
- Contact supplier/s and/or service provider/s to obtain technical and commercial quotations.
- Validate, analyze, and negotiate commercial quotations.
- Monitor delivery compliance and circulate related reports to concerned stakeholders.
- Obtain the required approval prior placing commitment to supplier.
- Place official purchase order via SAP.
- Maintain material and vendor master records.
- Provide assistance to Mezzan’s other business units on issues pertinent to job function; participate in performing routine checks and inspections to ensure the highest safety and quality standards are being maintained if required.
- Perform any other activity as required by the company both at the company premises and remotely when requested by the company.
- Contribute to the execution and delivery of any activities asked and when required to ensure the continuity of work in the absence of other colleagues.
Skills
- Mandatory: Bachelors’ degree in relevant field.
- Preferred: Knowledge of SAP ERP system
- +3 years’ experience in procurement role.
- Excellent communication skills, understanding of the current landscape and ability to build good relationships.
- Ability to handle pressure and adjust to new technology or market shifts.
- Proactively addressing disruptions in the supply chain.
- Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in purchase orders, contracts, and compliance with regulations.
- Experience with procurement software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and data analysis tools.
- Carry out his/her duties with high levels of ethical behavior, integrity and professionalism.
- Strategic and able to identify cost-saving opportunities, develop sourcing strategies and create influential relationships with key suppliers that will benefit the company in the years ahead.
