Job Description
- Execute the approved risk-based internal audit plan.
- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations as deemed applicable.
- Perform detailed testing of transactions and data to identify areas of risk and potential improvement.
- Document audit findings, including deviations from policies or standards, and communicate results to the Head of Internal Audit.
- Develop recommendations for corrective actions and improvements to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and mitigation plans to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Evaluate company records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant internal and external benchmarks.
- Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Review various functions such as procurement, inventory management, Commercial, Production, etc. to identify control weaknesses and opportunities for improvements.
- Analyze operational workflows, business processes, and IT systems to identify areas for process optimization and automation.
- Conduct special investigations as required to address irregularities.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in internal auditing.

Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather information, conduct interviews, and facilitate audit activities.

Maintain audit documentation, working papers, and reports in accordance with professional and departmental standards.
Skills
- Clear verbal and written communication in English & Arabic
- Attention to details in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information
- Able to effectively communicate with team members, management, & stakeholders to convey audit findings and recommendations.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
- Results Orientation and Execution Excellence
- Problem Solving & analytical skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- 2 years of relevant experience.
