Job Description
- To ensure that manufactured goods are produced at industry standards and meet required specifications.
- Monitor the production lines and resolve quality-related issues.
- Operate and monitor water treatment units and Waste water treatment unit.
- Inspecting incoming raw materials to ensure that they meet quality standards.
- Perform tests to ensure package and product quality.
- Follow process guidelines and expedite quality concerns to direct manager.
- Work with production, maintenance & warehouses as necessary.
- Keep daily records tests performed and results in addition to Monthly/weekly/daily recording
of quality KPI s and activities. - Ensuring food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), hygiene and sanitation
standards are maintained in the plant. - Handle Quality Supervisor responsibilities during his leave/absence.
- Fully comply with Health & Safety / Food Safety requirements.
Skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Quality related position preferably in the same field.
- Experience with Bottled Water, Gallon Water, Vinegar & Tomato Paste industries.
- Familiar with SIDEL, KRONES, BARDI & Tetra Pak production lines.
- Experience with audit compliance / reverse osmosis water treatment systems / food safety.
- Acceptable written and spoken English.
- Acceptable Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
- Ability to create and provide accurate and detailed reports.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in Science / Chemistry, or similar f
